 2022 Primary Election Calendar
 Monday, March 7 County Candidate Filing Begins - First day for Democratic and Republican candidates for partisan county offices to file nomination papers with the county auditor for the primary election
First day for NPPO candidates and candidates nominated by petition to file nomination papers for partisan county offices with the county auditor for the general election
First day for candidates for township offices to file nomination papers for the November general election (Affidavit of Candidacy only)
 Friday, March 25 at 5 p.m. County Candidate Filing Deadline -  Last day for Democratic and Republican candidates for partisan county offices to file with the auditor for the primary election
Last day to for NPPO candidates and candidates nominated by petition to file nomination papers for partisan county offices with the county auditor for the general election
Last day for candidates for township offices to file nomination papers for the November general election (Affidavit of Candidacy only)
 Tuesday, March 29 First Day to Submit Absentee Requests - Absentee requests received prior to 70 days before election shall be returned to the requestor 
 Wednesday, May 18 First day absentee ballots may be voted in the auditor's office.  First day regular absentee ballots may be mailed to voters 
 Monday, May 23 Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed is 5 p.m. 
 Monday, May 30 Memorial Day - County offices are closed 
 Saturday, June 4 Auditor's Office OPEN for in-person absentee voting from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
 Monday, June 6 Last day to request and vote an absentee ballot in person at the auditor's office 
 Tuesday, June 7 Primary Election Day - Polls open 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.  SEE CHART ABOVE FOR YOUR POLLING LOCATION.
All absentee ballots (except UOCAVA & Safe at Home) must be received by 8pm to be considered on time to be counted
 Monday, June 13 County Canvass of votes
